I helped organize and then student-led Drury's Alternative Fall Break trip to Memphis, TN, where I was able to serve Hope House and Youth Villages. These organizations work with kids affected by HIV and other issues and I am thankful for the opportunity to interact and connect with these kids!

I went on the Alternative Spring Break trip to New Orleans, Louisiana. I helped out at construction site, building a wall, at an animal shelter, cleaning cages and feeding the animals, in the Florida Desire community, picking up litter and clearing out brush, and at Arc, sorting Mardi Gras beads for re-sale.
